Finger-Paintin’ GOOD!

It snowed all day yesterday, we got about 4-6 inches…not bad really…perfect for staying inside and doing artsy crafty things.  So, I made this finger paint and the kiddos got busy 🙂

Ingredients

2/3 cup of cornstarch

6 Tbsp. white sugar

4 cups hot water

food coloring

  1. Mix everything except the food color up in a big saucepan.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens, about 5-8 minutes.  Remove from heat.
  3. Divide the mixture into separate cups/containers.  Tint each with a different color of food coloring.  Stir several times until cooled.
  4. PAINT! 😀
